Settings Overview

To access the Settings area of Jirav, click on the gear icon ⚙️ in the main navigation menu.  An overview of each section is included below; click on the section header to explore a more detailed article on that topic.

Your Company

• Integrations
  

  Connect Jirav with your financial and operational data sources.  Here, you can:

  • Integrate Actuals: Connect General Ledger (GL), Workforce, and Custom data to pull in actuals from your accounting system and other key sources.

  • Import Budgets: Bring in budget data for the Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Custom data from Excel. 

• Company
  Define system-wide settings to streamline planning & reporting.
• Users
  Area for Admins to manage user access & roles. 

Configuration

• Chart of Accounts
  Customize the Chart of Accounts for the Income Statement & Balance Sheet.
• Departments*
  Configure and map the Departments used for Income Statement planning & reporting.
  * Not available in all Jirav products
• Variances Rules
  Customize how reports & dashboards reflect variances. 
• Cash Flow
  Customize the section of the Cash Flow where the changes in Balance Sheet accounts are reflected.

Model

• Forecast
  Configure A/R and A/P settings for planning, as well as Auto-Forecast settings.
• Custom Tables
  Configure tables and lines to hold additional data outside of GL & workforce data, such as operational data, to be used for planning and reporting.
• Global Drivers
  Create formulas valid across all Jirav plans and actuals, typically used for KPIs. 
• Assumptions
  Create key assumptions to drive the plan, for example, a benefit rate per headcount or an average deal size. 
• Goals
  Set a top-down budget for comparative analysis. 

Admin

• Audit Log
  Review changes made in Jirav by date, user, and type of change.
• Billing 
  Update billing information.
