QuickBooks Desktop - Actual Import Instructions

Import your updated accounting data from QuickBooks Desktop

This article covers updating your accounting data from QuickBooks Desktop. Prior to doing this please be sure that you have completed the initial connection. Review our QuickBooks Desktop - Initial Connection Instructions for additional guidance with this.

First you are going to open up the Jirav Sync Manager. You can do this by clicking the arrow in the bottom right corner of your task bar. You should see the logo for the Sync Manager there. Right click on the logo and click Configure

When you open up the Sync Manager it may take a moment to make the connection to QuickBooks Desktop. Once this is successful you should see the status says Connected

Please note - In order to successfully import, the Jirav Sync Manager needs to be downloaded on the same computer that the QuickBooks Desktop file is on. This is the only way for Jirav to be able to access the data.

Once you have verified that the Jirav Sync Manager is connected you can begin to import

Login to Jirav and navigate to Setup ⚙️ > Actuals. Click on the Import button in the QuickBooks Desktop Tile

You will be prompted to select the desired date range. The import process can take a few moments. Once you receive confirmation that this was successful, review your Plans and Reports to verify that your accounting data was successfully updated.

Connecting to different Quickbooks Desktop files

If you need to connect to a different Quickbooks Desktop file other than the one currently configured, go to the Jirav account you wish to import to and navigate to Setup ⚙️ > Actuals. Select the three dots just above the Import button and select Show Agent Token
