Overview: Accounting Integration Capabilities

Import your accounting actuals to begin planning and reporting in Jirav

The accounting integration lays the foundation of Jirav's reporting, dashboarding, and planning features. While certain functions are applicable to all Jirav accounts, others are customized to fit the specific nuances of the selected accounting system. This article provides an overview of both sets of functionalities.

Jirav Accounting Actuals Overview

This set of features applies to all Jirav accounts

  • Automated Chart of Accounts Creation: Defaults to mirror the chart of accounts from your accounting system.
  • Historical Trial Balance Import: Imports monthly historical trial balances for immediate financial reporting & analysis.
  • Departmental Segmentation: Optional segmentation of trial balances by department for granular insights.
  • Fiscal Year: Inherits fiscal year settings from the accounting system.
  • Currency: Designed for single-currency operations and adopts currency from the accounting system; multi-currency support is not available at this time.
  • Single Accounting System Connection: Supports connection to only one accounting system; consolidating multiple accounting systems not available at this time.
  • One-Way Integration: Data imports from accounting system to Jirav and does not push any changes back to the accounting system.
  • Permanent Connectivity: Once the connection is established, you are unable to disconnect the integration and connect to a different accounting system on your own.  The Jirav support team can assist with this request. Submit a support ticket for assistance.
